Guides for BRYG.

Here is the list of things you can do in BRYG, at the moment. We will update the list with information.

    • Creating a product and updating it
      • First you find the Products menu, and click it. Then choose Products in the submenu, and finally click "Add product".

        The only thing you need to add, for creating a product, is the product number. This number is how you or your retailers identify the product. It has to be unique, and cannot be any crazy characters or uppercase.

        The product has now been created, as the green fancy alert tells you. And you will now get a screen where you can update the product with more information. The first section is the generic part.

        If you scroll down to the next screenshot, we have filled the fields.

        Most of the fields it self explorative, but the field URL key may be new to a lot of you. This is the products unique adress slug when viewing it at the shop. So like

        This part is about the beer and will be shown on next to the image choosen above. If you do not want to fill out all of the information like IBU, untapped link etc. just leave it blank. If the field is blank, it will not be shown on the shop.

        The advanced section gives you som extra featueres.

        NEW: If set to yes, the product will get a New label on it.

        Featured: If set to yes, it will show the product in the productlist on the homepage below the slideshow.

        Cost: It only for your internal use, to calculate how much you earn on your sales.

        Special Price: Will set a discounted price on the product.

        Special Price From: The Special price, will first be active from this date. This is used if your beer will degrade in quality after like 4 months, and you then will automatically reduce the price.

        Special Price To: This is used to automatically stop det special price at a given date.

        Hide Product price after this date: This is used to automatically disable the product when the special date to is reached. This is used if you want your product to automatically get disabled when the expirationsdate is reached.

        Meta title, keywords and description is for controlling what to write in the search results on search engines.

        Tax Category: Is the product a taxable good, or taxfree.

        Visible Individually: Should the product be visible on its own product page, if set to no, it will only show on the category page.

        PreOrder: This is a whole section, and will be adressed in a guide of its own. It lets your customer preorder products before production.

        Categories, let you decide which categories the product should be shown in. You can also create multiple categories on the category submenu.

        Linked products: This is product list at the bottom of the product page. You can search and click the products you want to show.

        After you click Save product, you will return the product list, where you can see you newly created product.

        If you click the button "View webshop" at the topbar, a new browser tab will open with your shops frontend.

    • Adding a new language
      • First you click Settings in the menu, and choose Locales in the submenu. You click Add Locale, and write the local code(see below), and gives it a Name. This will be visible to the customers in frontend, when the choose amongst languages.

        Supported languages and their codes:

        English: code is en

        Danish: code is da

        Belgian French: code is be-fr

        You language is now created, and it appears in the list. You want to use it, we know needs to add the store.

        Go to Settings menu again, and now choose Store settings in the submenu.

        In the Currencies and Language section, you will see a Multiselect where you can choose which lanuage you wan to use. Select the ones you want to use. You can also change the default language. Click "Save Store"

        The new language is now active in the store, and your customer can choose amongst both in the frontend. But the products is not updated to work on both languages yet. So click on products, and choose a product.

        At the top, you can choose between the active languages in the system. If you choose another languge than the default, you will be able to add information only active for this language. Fill out the information and click "Save product".

        Now we can check it out in the shop. Click the "View shop". Now you can see the language switcher in the bottom, and choose the new language. You can see the wordings change, and the new language is visible.

    • Change colors and new font type
      • First you click Configure in the menu, and choose General in the submenu. Choose the "Design" tab.

        Here you choose Status to be enabled, and if your settings should apply to Frontend and Administration

        After that, you can choose some colors, Primary will be button colors, and Secondary will be Logo color if text, and border colors etc.

        Click Save when your are done.

        Now we can choose a new font type for the system. Go to Pages menu, and choose Webfont in the submenu.

        Here you can click "Add web Font"

        In this dropdown, you can choose among all Googles webfonts,. You can also search by name.

        When you found one, click on it and click "Save web font".

        The font is now added to the list, but is not active in the system. To activate it, click on the Pencil icon, and you will it is be activated in the both the administration and/or the shop, regarding what settings you chose.

    • B2B: Hide your shop or prices behind customer login
      • Your BRYG platform has builtin B2B functionality, and it is simple to activate it.

        First you click Configure in the menu, and choose "Show Price after login" in the submenu.

        Here you can activate the B2B module, and that will give you 3 options to choose from.

        1. Hide Shop before login: This will hide the entire shop for visitors that is not logged in.

        2. Hide Buy/Add-to-Cart For Guest: This will disable the cart/buy function for visitors that is not logged in.

        1. Hide Price & Buy/Add-to-Cart For Guest: This will hide the prices and disable cart/buy functionality for visitors that is not logged in.

    • Slideshow: Change or add new banner
      • First you click "Settings" in the menu, and choose "Sliders" in the submenu.

        Here you can see a list of the banner images you already have. The shop is created 3 example banners./p>

        To add a new banner, click "Create Slider"

        There is simple simple steps to fill out the information of the new banner.

        Name: Give the banner a name, so you can recognize it in the banner list.

        Image: Choose a good image. Remember that the image has to be large, because the design is fullwidth. We recommend 1900px in width, and in the format .jpg to keep the size small.

        Content: You do not need to fill this out, but if you write something, it will show in a white box on top of the image. You can use different paragraph to get a headline..

        Select Link: Choose if you banner should be clickable, if yes, you can choose a specific category or product to link to.

        And the frontend result is this:

    • Send an email with your products to your customer
      • First you click "Products" in the menu, and choose "Products" in the submenu.

        In the product list, you can mark the products you want to send./p>

        Choose email in the select at the top.

        Click Submit button next to the select, and agree to the popup.

        Here you can customize the email.

        Customer groups: Choose which customer groups you want to send the email too.

        Subscribers: This is a feature for the future, we are creating a service called, where consumers can signup to get news about craftbeers in their local area. Suscribers from your aread will be in this list in the future.

        Email Subject: This is the subject line of the email.

        Introduction text: This will be the introduction text in the email body.

        Headline before products: This will be the headline above the products you have chosen.

        Now I will as customer receive the email.

        And when I open the email, it will have the information.
